Potato wave ICEE dems

I've got a few people who I consider BFFs and I'm actually proud of that.

The person I've known the longest is Nicole, who's my strictly RL bff. We've known each other almost 10 years now. We first met back when I was in the 8th grade and she was in 9th. We were both friends with this girl Melissa, who also lived across the street from me. The day Nicole and I met, she was over at Melissa's and I went over there to see if she wanted to walk down to the corner store with me. Then when I started HS, Nicole and I were both on the yearbook staff and we sat together and mostly talked during class and after I'd go have lunch with her and her friends. Good times, yo.

Then we have my idk, bff doctorfumbles (private joke). Since she's back east most of the year for school, she's my online/RL bff. We've known each other for almost three years and I talk to her like literally everyday, even if it's just for five minutes or through twitter. The last time we hung out was on my birthday when she came up. It was such an awesome day. She's threatening not to come up this summer when she's home, since I've made her the past three summers. Guess I'll have to start looking up bus/train prices eventually. ;D

Next we have another online/RL bff, this time it's afteriwake. We've known each other, three or four years now? I think it's going to be four, but I'm not entirely sure since I met her before I met doctorfumbles. We met for the first time this past summer at Comic Con. We hung out for a couple of hours almost everyday that I went and it was fantastic. Still totally jealous that she met Alimi Ballard (aka David Sinclair from Numb3rs).

My (unfortunately) only strictly online bff is my mei mei, ethergirl88. We've known each other for about six or seven years now. We first met when I made a layout for someone who was a friend of hers and passed along my info. She asked for a Labyrinth layout, which I ended up making. After that we've been inseparable.

And lastly, but most certainly not least, is my gf/bff proudduckling. About five years ago, I stalked her for about a month because she had made an icon I loved, but lost and couldn't find again. It took me a little over a month to get the courage to finally IM her and I did. We didn't really talk much that day, but a while later we did. I remember the first time we ever had a real conversation. It was during the summer, late night/very early morning. I had stayed up all night and was watching Wild Wild West when she got online. We talked for a few hours until she had to go to work. After that, well it's pretty obvious where we ended up ♥

My username is: thiscanbegin, comes from the Something Corporate song "Punk Rock Princess". The whole line goes maybe when I'm done with endings this can begin. Doesn't matter how many times I listen to that song, that one line always sticks out above the rest. I've sort of adopted it as my motto. Everything has to end at some point, but at the same time, everything has a beginning. So just because something has ended, doesn't mean you can't begin again. Never knew I could be so deep, huh?

My journal name is: "you can see her lying naked in your arms", another lyric (all my titles are, actually) from the song "Sometime Around Midnight" the The Airborne Toxic Event.

My title is: "tattoo your name across my heart", from Beyonce's "Sweet Dreams". I picked this because it goes good with my subtitle.

My subtitle is: "this is relationship suicide", from The Script's "Talk You Down". Another line that just stands out for me.

My friends page is called: "when you start the day just to close the curtains", from Jack Mannequin's "Mixed Tape". Not really much to say about this one, I just never bothered to change it form when all the others are Jack's Mannequin/Something Corporate themed.

My default userpic is:

Love, because obviously, David Tennant and John Barrowman kissing, but hate because I could have seen this happen in RL at this past Comic Con, but I was in another panel. Unfair, yo. It's about this Time Agent named Charlie who's been watching after this girl named Lily, after she met The Doctor when she was a child. Now Lily is grown up and she and Charlie are realizing their feelings for one another and finally starting to act on them. It hasn't been updated in a while, but she's promised me 5,000 for meeting my crossbigbang deadline.

afteriwake writes this amazing The Mentalist AU that focuses on Wayne Rigsby and Grace van Pelt and their relationship, called keepasecret_fic. Basically they're together, but because of their jobs, no one can know that they're a couple. She's told me some of her ideas as to where she wants to go with the series and I'm excited!

Last one is a sort of self-pimp but not really because I co-write it. motion_fic is an AU based off my original CSI series (csi_no, that I co-write with doctorfumbles). I'm only pimping this is because, it's become more of a merger between my series and afteriwake's series "Searching For Peace of Mind". I've decided to start writing it again, even though I have to start from scratch since 95% of my fics were lost.

Because I'm weird, I have a habit of assigning real life people (actors/actresses/etc...) to play my fictional characters. So here are the characters of Standing on the Edge of Morning.

Big thanks to doctorfumbles for putting up with my crazy and helping me come up with a list of people to use. She claims to just have googgled what I asked for, but I know that she came up with awesome people because she's awesome herself ♥.

Darcy is the only character in this story who is actually featured on Degrassi:TNG. Everyone else is an original character and belongs to me.

A few days ago, doctorfumbles and I, decided to have an impromptu "icon battle". We worked together to come up with a list of fifteen fandoms and then on our own, picked out two caps each per fandom.

Since it added up to being sixty icons each, doctorfumbles had the bright idea to split the icons up into the caps I picked and the caps she picked, and we each post them at our journals.

So without further ado, the caps I picked.

afteriwake has been compiling a list of hot guys for about a month and a half now and she finally has enough guys to post. So tonight, I collected all the pictures, organized them, put them into Photobucket and then made up a post in Word with all the HTML. And it only took about 5 hours!

Since I worked so hard (and contributed a fair amount of guys), I'm going to post the lists here too. Yes, I said lists. There were just so many guys and so many pictures, that I had to break it down into categories; tv, movies, music and sports. Even there was only one picture for each guy, it still probably would've taken at least two posts. This way it's just more organized, I think.

Okay, enough explaining. I'm tired and my ass hurts from sitting here so long and I want to go to bed. Without further ado, here are the hot guys.

The ones with an * by there name are the ones I picked. I've also realized from doing this, that I tend to like guys with beards/stubble and who have lighter eyes (green, blue, light hazel).
